When preparing urban green and open spaces, the fundamental approach to fostering relaxation and comfort within parks involves the utilization of benches and park chairs. When designing these benches, alongside aesthetics and alignment with the cultural context of the environment they’re placed in, the following aspects must be taken into consideration: bench height, seat depth, seat width, backrest height, backrest angle, seat surface angle (seat slope), forearm support, leg space, and adherence to essential design and construction standards. Park benches and chairs are categorized into three primary groups: standard metal park benches, CNC metal park benches, and cast iron park benches.

Standard metal park benches are commonly constructed using tubes and sheets, resulting in a simpler structure and a lower price compared to the other two variations. Additionally, they require relatively less production time.

CNC metal benches boast a more sophisticated design. During their manufacturing process, sheets are typically cut into attractive patterns using CNC-equipped machines and then assembled. The production process and cost of CNC park benches are slightly higher than those of standard metal park benches.

The cast iron park bench represents the epitome of elegance among park benches made from cast iron. Its design and appearance are considerably more refined than the preceding models and are often harmonized with cast iron waste containers. As such, the cost of cast iron park benches is marginally higher than the previous two models.
